Katelyn Rinicker​
​
Katelyn Rinicker is a pollinator specialist and joined Prairie Rivers of Iowa in July 2024. She is currently working on a Grant project to restore monarch butterfly habitat on agricultural lands. She is also continuing work with the City of Ames Pollinator Friendly Community Plan. Restoring habitat for our pollinators is essential for their continued survival.

Katelyn went to Bemidji State University to receive her bachelor's degree in environmental studies with minors in sustainability, Indigenous sustainability, and GIS. In her spare time she is working with her boyfriend to restore their backyard into native prairie!
